There is no limit for how much books you buy.

Which one is correct?

I would use There is no limit on how many books you can buy.

Yes, I should have used many for books.Then what about limit on vs limit for?

Is only limit on correct?
 
You can also say 'There is no limit to the number of books you can buy'.

We don't say 'limit for'.
