Hi teachers,

Is "love begets love" correct?

Thanks.

It's a grammatical phrase.

When there's a grammatical phrase, should I explain more or add more sentences to it?

We can only tell you if it's correct if we know what you were trying to express. I know what "Love begets love" means to me but is it what you meant to say? We don't know.

'Love begets love' is not a universal truth.

Love more often than not is unrequited.

Often, love begets divorce. ;-)
