I was wondering about the preposition after the noun "love" : ....Queen Victoria's famed love for jewels. I have the idea that if we have a possessive it's love for and can anyone explain which one works when-of or for? can both work in this case? Thanks in advance

I suppose so. (Some might disagree.)
