Should I use 'in' or 'of' in the following sentences?

1- Many people do not care about the politics of/in India.

Use "of".

Or say: "Many people in India do not care about politics."

Or "Many people don't care about politics in India".

That is very unclear. Do you mean:

a. Many Indian people do not care about politics;
b. Many people (in other countries) do not care about Indian politics;
c. Something else?

I mean 'b'.

Isn't that true of just about any country you can think of?

I don't know. Lots of foreigners like to comment on American politics.
