[Vocabulary] "marine city" or "maritime city"

I'm wondering if I should say Kaohsiung is a "marine city" or a "maritime city"? Thank you so much!

The dictionary definitions are almost the same, but it's more common to call cities like Kaohsiung maritime cities.
