Hello,

1. If someone is always ready and willing to share their own stuff with others, we would say they are generous. But are there any other adjectives used more frequently in spoken English?

2. Is the antonym of "generous" "mean"? Any other more commonly used adjectives or expressions?

Thanks.

I suggest kind, thoughtful, giving, as well. Mean *can* be an antonym for generous, particularly in 18th century literature and earlier, but these days it would be considered very approximate, not quite the right word. Use greedy, selfish, avaricious, stingy, or another word.
