Hi guys,

If our manager is calling us for a meeting. Can we say "Manager wants to hold on a meeting"?

Our manager wants to hold a meeting.
Our manager wants to have a meeting.
Our manager wants to meet.

Not "hold on" and "Manager" needs some sort of determiner.

I found 'convene a meeting' in my dictionary, perhaps it can be another option.

Not a teacher.

Manager isn't a proper name, so say: "The manager wants to hold a meeting." Everyone you work with will know which manager you mean.

Not a teacher.

That's a little formal for a routine office meeting.
