Which one is correct?

1: What is the scientific name of/for budgie?
2: What is the scientific name of/for a budgie?
 
What is the scientific name of a budgie?
Unnatural.

What is the scientific name of budgie?
Incorrect.

What is the scientific name for budgie?
Okay.

What is the scientific name for a budgie?
Okay.
 
What is the scientific name of a budgie?
Unnatural.

What is the scientific name of budgie?
Incorrect.

What is the scientific name for budgie?

What is the scientific name for a budgie?
Okay.
I would use the third one if it was budgies.

Is "What is the meaning of this word?" correct?

"Name for" whereas "meaning of", right?
 
Note that "name of" is also possible (and common in English) but not in the above example.
