Is the following sentence correct and natural?
We might buy a new house for investment if the price drop down.
No but the meaning is clear.
In BrE we would normally say that prices "drop" or "go down".

In BeE we would normally say that prices "drop" or "go down".
Why do you use "as an"? Why don't you use "for"?
