Hello

Is it correct to use "predominant" with drawback in this way?

One of the predominant drawbacks of non-organic farming is that some chemical fertilizers are used in it which can be harmful to human health.

I also have doubts about the "in it" part which I have underlined.

"Main" is simpler and more straightforward. Drop "in it"; you could say it uses some chemical fertilizers which can be harmful to human health.

What about now?

One of the predominant drawbacks of non-organic farming is that chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used in non-organic farming which have a harmful impact on both people and the environment.

There's no reason to repeat non-organic farming, so there's no need for the preposition in. If you're wondering whether on is the right preposition, it is.

Why won't you try the version (with "it uses") suggested by GoesStation above?

I want to use passive voice. Is this okay?

One of the predominant drawbacks of non-organic farming is that chemical fertilizers and pesticides are used in this method which have a detrimental impact on both people and the environment.

It's weak. The passive voice reduces its impact.

I wouldn't say it's wrong but I don't think predominant is a great word choice there. Much better to use main, as GoesStation suggests.
