ourself vs ourselves

Which one is correct and why?

We do this for children. We don't do this to delight ourself.

My haunch tells me the second one is correct. I don't know why, though.

I don't like the use of "delight" in either. Only "ourselves" is correct. "We" is plural so you need to use a plural reflexive pronoun.
