"Family is one thing, business is another, and in business everyone is out for themselves."


Do they mean the same thing?
 
Basically. The one seems to be about some post-disaster scenario. There is a difference between people having to be looking out for themselves because of extreme circumstances and those who are only looking out for themselves because of greed.
