Some Taiwanese teachers of English think that "period" is a pun here. It means that Jane has a single cyclic occurrence of menstruation, so she says "period, sorry" to emphasize the finality of the preceding statement. I think considering "period" a pun in the quotation is ridiculous. Can any native speakers see a pun here?

Your punctuation is wrong.
For a start, the underlined part is a comma splice error. Also, I would expect "You're not getting in, period. Sorry", in which case "period" just means: and that's that - do not try any further. In that case, no pun is involved. Do you have a link to the actual video?

The apology has nothing to do with the word "period". She's apologising for the fact that Jesse doesn't want this unspecified person in (whatever it is).

In the above link, "period" is translated as "menstruation" in the Chinese subtitles.
Some teachers think "menstruation" is an incorrect translation.
Two teachers (kee32 and ewayne) say that it is a pun.

Sometimes with very bad effects. I was watching a movie with Spanish subtitles when a character said "Yeah, right!" which the subtitles rendered as "claro que sí". Computers just don't get irony.

The original English was Light yellow Thin liquid, including the arbitrary capitalization.
