I don't find it natural. I'd expect "... you will receive the contract by email" or, to use "in", maybe "... you will receive the contract in your inbox".

Just small clarification. If she had said:

"You will receive the money ON your (bank) account", I guess it would have been wrong or unnatural, because " IN your account would be more correct?

Just something like:

"You will receive the photo ON your phone", would be correct?
 
Yes. "in your account" and "on your phone" are natural in those contexts. However, as always, context can influence the choice of preposition.

I'll send the photo to your phone.
Save the contact details to/in/on your phone.
Do you have his number in/on your phone?
