Hello.

I've translated a very short text from Persian into English. I would appreciate it if you would proofread it.

I would like to know how many words I should translate not to bother the proofreaders. I particularly would like to elicit the responses of @teechar and @tarheel regarding this question.

The following translation contains 85 words.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Putin to Russian Air Force: Get ready for war

The president of Russia in a command ordered Russian Air Force to prepare for a time of war.

This command was issued in a circumstance that accumulating tensions is extending between Russia and many of the world’s largest superpowers.

“In accordance with the decision by the Armed Forces Supreme Commander, unannounced inspections have been carried out at Russian Air Force in order to evaluate the preparation of apparatuses for executing combat missions.” Russian Defense Minister announced.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Regards.

Perhaps:

This order was issued amid rising tensions between Russia and NATO.

Or:

This order was issued amid rising tensions between Russia and the US.

Say:

In accordance with the decision by the Armed Forces Supreme Commander, unnanounced inspections have been carried out at Russian air bases in order to evaluate the preparation of the air force for executing combat missions.

You might also say:

in order to evaluate the readiness of the air force to execute combat missions.

Of course, the two things don't mean the same thing, but they are related.

What do you think?

Well, to be candid, there is no difference between "readiness" and "preparation" for me. I know they are different words but I think they almost convey the same meaning.

I'd like to ask you if it is correct to say "Russia Air force" or "Russian Air Force"

Russian Air Force.

(Preparation is what you do to get ready.)
