Hello All,

This is one question for which I am unable to figure out what possibly the answer could be.

"I am the first son in my family."

What would be the question format for the above sentence.

I bet this question comes up about six times a year.

English does not have a "How manieth?" question form. You have to use longer phrasing.

Where do you fall in your family?

Or sometimes you just say "Are you the oldest?" and they will tell you that they are first or third or the youngest, or whatever.

Can we say: What is your family's chronological order?
