In BrE, we say "The eighth of June" or "June the eighth". We generally write ,"8 June" or 8th June".

We usually write "June 8th, 2011" or "8th June, 2011" but when we read it aloud (or even when we read it in our heads) what we hear is "June the eighth 2011" or "The eighth of June 2011".

I'm not sure what you mean by "how to use it".

Yes.

both senior members are 100% right. Your style is just like complicated.

And in the US, it's June 8, 2011. No "th" and the date after the month.

Even so, when reading this out loud, you might say:
June eighth
June the eighth
June eight.

I'm mostly likely to say the first.
