When you say "yes or no" questions, do you mean questions that cannot be answered with "yes or no"?

I think they are auxiliary verbs and modal verbs, but I am not a teacher.I mean "yes or no question words" like do you, have you, can you, will you, may you, and must you.
In spoken English, you can form questions with rising inflection. It's still a yes/no question, but done without a 'wh' word or axillary verb.
