Rage in Eden

Hello,


I am a little bit confused by a song called Rage in Eden by Ultravox. There is a part, a refrain, I cannot understand at all and it seems to me to be a meaningless mumbling; I cannot get a word.
Can anybody hear any meaningful words there? The refrain starts at cca. 2:30.

Can you post a link to the recording you are listening to? I like Ultravox, and am willing to listen and try to help. What does it sound like to you?

I've been frustrated before with trying to understand song lyrics. Song writers sometimes abuse their poetic license, and make small effort to clarify. Lyrics sites on the internet are often wrong.

It appears to be glorified gibberish. Have a look at this:

It does sound something like Eyes upon them focus on the main façade. If so, I have no idea what it means, but most of the song is an incomprehensible j/mumble.
