Let's imagine you're writing a grammar book. Then you have to let those for whom you're writing it know where some other information on the topic is written in the book. Also, you've got something important to say about what the article you've written.
Do I understand it right that for the first, we would use note, and for the second, remark?
E.g.:
Note. To learn the spelling of s-plurals, see paragraph 77.
Remark 1. In colloquial speech, people often use there is even when there's a plural noun after it.
Remark 2. In colloquial speech, people tend to sometimes use there was when there's a plural noun after it (in the past).

"Note" sounds all right but using "Remark" that way is unusual, though it's up to you of course. You could use "Note" instead of "Remark 1" and "Remark 2".
