1. what does 'serve it up' mean? (in a game situation)

2. what does 'stick it' mean in the following sentence?

I told Peter he could stick it.

thanks!

SERVE IT UP
To pitch (a ball).
In baseball: To pitch (a ball) over the middle of home plate, where it is likely to be hit hard.
STICK IT
This word has a lot of meanings. But in sports it means 'to pitch' too.
There is a term 'a hockey stick'.

I think so.

I am not a teacher.

"Stick it" is short for "stick it up his ass." (American English) To insert it in his rectum. It is not meant literally, of course---it expresses contempt and rejection.
