Which one is correct?

1) Its a good thing I've shunned them.

2) Its a good thing I've shunned them away.

3) Its a good thing I've shunned them away from my life.

Even the first one needs an appostrophe to be completely correct. "It's" not "Its".

When should we use "Its" then?

"Its" is the possessive form, meaning "belonging to it".

Unlike other possessive forms, it doesn't use an apostrophe, so it doesn't get mixed up with "it's" (it is/it has).
 
And further to emsr2d2's reply, it's is a contraction of "it is".
 
To shun is to keep away from something. Thus the preposition is redundant.
