Must "bags and belts" be in the plural form? Can we say..

*Crocodile skin can be used to make many things such as bag and belt.


2) What about the following sentence...

I love to eat _________ . (apple/apples)


3) Can we use the singular form of nouns to refer to all items in the same category?

(apple/apples).You can't use singular to represent that kind of categary here.For your last question:I think it depends on the situation.
