When writing a receipe, we list out the ingredients and amount.
Which of the following is correct?

1(a) strawberry 10
apple 1
1(b) strawberries 10
apple 1

2(a) salad dressing 2 tablespoons
(b) salad dressing 2 tablespoon

If you look at any cookery book, you'll see that amounts/quantities are placed before the ingredients — like this:

6 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples (6 medium)
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
