Small group-based or small-group-based?

Hi all,

Is it OK to write small-group-based (with hyphens between each word) or does it have to be small group-based? The problem is because there are 2 words before 'based'

I would hyphenate small-group-based. It's a double compound adjective, if I may coin a phrase, where group-based is refined by adding "small-".

The semicolon should be a colon.
