Hello,
I would like to ask you about statics verbs, as for instance: love, see, hear, smell.....
They are not normally used in present continuous unless their meanings have slightly been changed.
Thus, we say "I can hear you, stop shouting please!" but we can also say "I am hearing what you are saying.." Does the second sentence take the meaning of "listening"?
Another question related to this: do you consider "hope" one of these type of verbs?
Can you see any difference between: "I am hoping for an interview next week"
"they hope to visit us next year"
