hi,

what is the right way to tell someone that you are renting a house with a friend?

1. i am staying with Fred?
This implies that Fred is the primary owner or renter.
2. we are staying together?
This could imply an intimate relationship.
3. we are living together?
This could imply a sexual relationship.
4. i am putting up with Fred for a while?
This does not mean you are living in the same house.
Thx
How about:
I am renting a house with a friend.
We are renting a house together.
We are sharing a house.
Fred and I are house mates.
