Hello .

Today I am submitting this question about " strong".
I want to know when people say " you are strong" " it's strong".

I know " strong'' is opposite meaning of weak.

But for whatever reason when I hear people saying " you are strong" , I feel they are saying " you are stupid" or " you are strange". . I am not sure if I could be right about it.

Any opinions are appreciate it.

It depends entirely on the context. Generally, if someone said to me "You are strong", I would understand it to mean (depending on the context) that I was physically strong, or emotionally strong (able to cope with mental stress).
In other contexts, "strong" might not be a compliment, as in "using strong language" (saying rude words).

I agree that ' strong might not be use as a compliment. as well as ' you are smart' does not mean " you are academically smart''

"You are strong" does not, under any circumstances, mean "You are stupid" or "You are strange".
