We have used my car in many cases such as when my son first came home after his birth, when I go to work every day, and when my family goes camping, etc
.
My car has been with my family for seven years.

If there's anything awkward, could you let me know, especially "such as when" part?

1) You've used such as when correctly, but you should put a comma before it.

2) in many cases is not good. Do you mean in many different situations or many times?

3) It's not right to use We as a subject when you mention going to work. Your family don't go to work with you, do they?

4) You can't use present perfect in the first clause, and then use present simple later on. Those tenses don't agree in this sentence.

5) Don't say, etc.

Say:

many times

Or

quite often

Also, say:

when we brought my son home ....

I would say:

I have owned that car for seven years.

(I don't regard cars as pets.)

To avoid the problematic use of "We" at the start, you could start with "Our car is used in lots of different situations, ...".
