Hi, how is it going guys?

Yesterday, I had a difficult test in which I came across the following question.

I chose the answer a based on my hunch. would you please tell me if it is correct and why other choices are wrong.

......... can be viewed as either positive or negative, as in the case of normative group.

a. such subjects as referred
b. such a subject to be viewed
c. reference to such subjects

Thanks soooooooooooo much in advance

The sentence is strangely constructed. I find it difficult to think of a situation it which it could be used meaningfully. I suspect that the answer required is c.

C seems to me the only one to make any sense at all. (But I would assume the last noun phrase should be 'the case of the normative group' (whateverr THAT means ;-))

b
