[Grammar] swap you or swap with you

I thought the preposition 'with' is necessary in the sentence below. Is 'with' necessary?

- I will swap (with) you my blue dress for your vintage hat.

Does this mean that both are correct?

I will swap with you my blue dress for your vintage hat.

I will swap you my blue dress for your vintage hat.

It's more natural without "with".
