what do the below two phrases mean? and what is the difference in their meaning?

- Take a high road

- Take a low road

thanks in advance.

When used as a metaphor, if you take the high road, it means that you act with the highest level of integrity and a commitment to do things the morally right way.

The low road would be doing whatever it takes to get your way.
