Taste in the progressive

Hello.

Can I use the verb "taste" in the progressive? "The jam is tasting more and more sweet."

I was thinking about the verbs that are not usually used in the progressive. About "Smell" "hear" and "taste". But maybe in the right context "hear" and "smell" are also possible in the progressive?
 
Is the maker of the jam constantly improving their product?
 
I, too, am eating less and less sugar these days, but my jam tastes sweeter. I wouldn't go for the progressive there even as I try/am trying to shed the odd kilo.
