Hi,

P1: Hey do you want some icecream
P2: Nah, i'm fine
P1: C'mon just take a taste from me

Thanks

Come on, just have a little taste!
Go on, have a taste.
Have a taste of mine.

I think "Have a taste from me" sounds (a little) like you're suggesting that the other person actually shares the ice cream that is already in your mouth!!!

I agree completely.

Have a little taste. Have a taste of mine. Try a taste. But not "Have a taste from me."

Hi,

P1: Hey, do you want some ice-cream?
P2: Nah, I'm fine.
P1: C'mon. . . just have a taste with me.

Thanks

Take care with your punctuation and always capitalise I.

When we use "have a" ...?

When we use "have a" ...?

"Have a taste" is a bit more BrE, although some American speakers will use it. However, it's more common in AmE to say "Take a little taste" or "Try a taste". (Which is then usually followed by "Oh, c'mon, just a little taste....it's really good, you have to try it....." by some folks who refuse to take 'no' for an answer when it comes to sharing food.)

(Speaking of tasting and sharing food, my own Mother used to let Sparky the cat lick her ice cream cone, but she wouldn't eat off of the same fork as me if I offered her a taste of my food. Me, her own first-born child. :crazyeye: )
