It sounds like an undergrad student in a second-year literature course.

Textual analysis. Deciding what's enough is up to you and your professor. Hermeneutical or psychoanalytical or deconstructive or psycholinguistic or semiotic or syntactical or semantical analyses may also be required, depending on the text at hand, or what the professor is aiming to teach you.

I'm glad you've got intertextuality on there though, it seems like your professor is on the right track. My friend Julia Kristeva would be pleased. Next time we jog through the Jardin du Luxembourg, I'll tell her she's still popular.
