I said the following while having a conversation with an Egyptian.

1. The country is headed towards a dictatorship.
2. Is Egypt a dictatorship?

I'm not very sure about the 'a' before dictatorship. Do we say it this way?
 
Yes. That's fine. Either "headed towards a dictatorship" or "becoming a dictatorship" work.
