One version of the Bible in Acts chapter 2 verse 1 says "And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place."

What is the meaning of "fully come"? Why isn't just "come"? Thanks for your comments!

Have you ever been awake on a night when the sky was clear and carefully observed the return of the day? The first thing that happens is that some of the faintest stars disappear. That is called astronomical dawn. When there is enough light to see a horizon at sea, that's called nautical dawn. Civil dawn occus when there is enough light to discern most objects. And of course sunrise is when the first limb of the sun crests the horizon. Here's the Wikipedia article:


So I'd say the day has fully come just after sunrise.
