there aren't any cars outside

Hello,

I have asked similar questions, but I still have doubt in whether I should say:

1. "There aren't any cars outside" or "There isn't any car outside".

and

2. "There are no cars outside" or "There is no car outside".

Thanks a lot.
 
NOT A TEACHER
But I'd go with: There are no cars outside.
 
You should generally say 1a and 2a. Have you had contrary advice?
 
Oh thanks! I'm not a navive speaker, so I was not sure. But now I am sure thanks to your answer!
