Hi everyone,

I wanted to know if the following answera to these tag questions are correct:

1. You are married, aren’t you? Yes, I am. (I am married)
2. You are married aren’t you? No, I’m not. (I am single)
3. You aren’t married, are you? Yes, I am. (I am married)
4. You aren’t married, are you? No,I’m not. (I am single)

Note my corrections in red above. All the tag questions and responses are correct and lead to the meaning you've indicated.
 
Note also that if you say you're not married, you could be implying you're divorced.

True, although if you're divorced but not in a relationship, you're still single.

You've brought up a good point though. I should have considered (and pointed out) that the fact that you're not married doesn't necessarily mean you're single. It just means you're not married. You could be single, in a relationship, or engaged.

Number three doesn't work for me.

You'll probably never have a reason to ask those questions.
