Are these sentences correct? Or should it be: 'There is no window in this room' and 'There is no airport in this area' ?
 
They are fine.
 
:up: ...although the first of your two is more likely to be 'There are no windows in this room', unless it's quite a small room (oops - I've just thought, this will depend on the architectural traditions in your part of the world).
