Mary was taken to hospital. When I arrived, doctors were trying to rescue her, but there was no point.

Can I replace the underlined word "point" with "use" to express the same meaning? Is it acceptable? Thanks!

Yes, you can replace "point" with "use". Personally I prefer "... it was hopeless" over both "use" and "point".

Change 'rescue' to 'revive' or 'resuscitate'.

"Point" and "use" are wrongly used here. If there was no point/use, they wouldn't have been doing it. You are talking about the outcome, which the doctors didn't know yet, so there definitely was a point to doing what they did.
You could say, "... but it turned out to be pointless/useless", although one could even quibble over that. Better: " ... but it was unsuccessful".
