I’ve been trying to improve my English writing for a while now — essays, posts, sometimes just random thoughts.
And honestly, it used to be so frustrating. I could understand everything I read, but when I tried to write… the sentences just didn’t sound right.

After a lot of trial and error, here are a few tools that really helped me write more confidently:
  • Grammarly – good for quick grammar checks and spotting weird phrasing.
  • DeepL – great when I have an idea but can’t find the exact words in English.
  • Sentence Rewriter – this one is a lifesaver.
When I know what I want to say but it sounds a bit awkward, this helps me rephrase it naturally without changing my meaning.
  • YouGlish – to hear how certain expressions are actually used by real people.
  • Notes app – I keep a small list of nice phrases or sentence patterns I see online.
It’s not a perfect system, but it makes writing in English a lot less painful.
If you’ve found any tools or small habits that help you write better, I’d love to hear them too 👀

Your tools are good,
I disagree entirely. The only way to learn a new language is memorise as much vocabulary as you can, preferably in related groups such as knife, fork, spoon, and so on, then use your shiny new words with a wide variety of adjectives and verbs.
English is a silly language in many ways, but its wild craziness gives it a poetic flexibility that many languages just can't match.
To improve, read, read, read again, then watch good quality documentaries.
If you want to cheat for tests but learn nothing, use tools. If you want your English to get worse, use AI tools.
