I’ve been trying to improve my English writing for a while now — essays, posts, sometimes just random thoughts.
And honestly, it used to be so frustrating. I could understand everything I read, but when I tried to write… the sentences just didn’t sound right.
After a lot of trial and error, here are a few tools that really helped me write more confidently:

After a lot of trial and error, here are a few tools that really helped me write more confidently:
- Grammarly – good for quick grammar checks and spotting weird phrasing.
- DeepL – great when I have an idea but can’t find the exact words in English.
- Sentence Rewriter – this one is a lifesaver.
When I know what I want to say but it sounds a bit awkward, this helps me rephrase it naturally without changing my meaning. - YouGlish – to hear how certain expressions are actually used by real people.
- Notes app – I keep a small list of nice phrases or sentence patterns I see online.
