"For example, if official history tells you from cradle to grave that the Second World War was fought between the good guys and bad guys, the Allies fighting for freedom and the fascists seeking a global dictatorship, you do not open your eyes to see the endless provable evidence that both "sides" were funded and controlled by the same people operating through Wall Street and the City of London".

David Icke, Children Of The Matrix.

Could you explain the use of the article before evidence, to me without the article it sounds good.

There is no article before "evidence". There is an article before the start of that phrase. Also, anything with "provable evidence" in it isn't worth reading.

This is a definite article, used to make specific reference to the following noun phrase. This is always what the word 'the' means, not just here. You can understand 'endless provable evidence' as one, single, specific thing in the world, the word 'the' being then a way to point to it and thereby separate it from everything else.
