Lining up for a Covid-19 vaccine also seemed like a far-fetched idea just yet. But then it became clear these locals were after an entirely different fix. Hoskote's much-hyped "Anand Dam Biryani" had finally opened its doors after lockdown rules were relaxed here. Bengalurites had formed a 1.5 kilometre long queue just to scratch their Biryani itch.
