This is a diary entry. Please point out any mistakes and offer corrections.

I realized that before contacting anyone, even relatives, I should calm down first. My sister was in an accident, hit by a motorcycle. She called my cousin, who told me to call our aunt. However, my aunt’s line was unavailable due to the typhoon that hit our region, causing a power outage. I then contacted another cousin, knowing my aunt usually stays with her during storms. She didn’t answer but texted me that our aunt had returned home. I told her about my sister’s accident, but she said her husband couldn’t come because some roads are not passable. She then suggested I go to the hospital since I was nearby, and I realized I should have gone immediately. Instead, I wasted time telling others. Worse, I also told my other sister, who was busy at work, because we couldn’t reach our mom due to the power outage and her phone's probably out of battery. I realized, I should have gone to the hospital right away instead of following my cousin’s advice. The point is it's me who can do something and not other people.

Perhaps:

My sister was in an accident, having been hit by a motorcycle.

Was she on foot? Why didn't somebody call an ambulance right away?

Thankfully, people saw what happened and she got rushed to the hospital.

The original leaves out an important detail. Perhaps:

My sister was in an accident, having been hit by a motorcycle. She called my cousin from the hospital. My cousin called me and told me to call my aunt.

I'm not sure I understand the last sentence.

"Got a realisation" is not natural and incomplete.
How about "come to realise something " or simply "realise something"?

I realized that, before contacting anyone, even relatives, I should calm down first. My sister was involved in an accident - she was hit by a motorcycle. She called my cousin, who told me to call our aunt. However, my aunt’s line was unavailable due to the typhoon that hit our region (no comma) causing a power outage. I then contacted another cousin, knowing my aunt usually stays with her during storms. She didn’t answer but texted me that our aunt had returned home. I told her about my sister’s accident, but she said her husband couldn’t come because some roads are not passable.
