Usage of "in as much as" and "as much"

This is a radio interview over cyber ransom and how to tackle them. I think "inasmuch as" is synonym of "as far as" here, but i don't understand the paragraph completely.

It's a mess. You've probably already noticed that it's just a run-on string of phrases, not a complete sentence. As you can see above, I have tried to untangle it.

NPR often interviews people who are experts in their fields but who mire themselves in junk English.

You can Google "junk English."

Always capitalize the pronoun I.
