[Grammar] Usage of "Neither" and "None".

What is difference between the following sentences? Could you please explain it briefly.

Neither of the members is going.
None of the members is going.
 
Sure. :) Neither implies that there are only two members in question. None implies an unspecified number. ;)
 
What about this sentence? is it correct sentence?

Neither of the students was present.
 
Yes, if there are only two students.
 
Neither means there were only two.
