I have two questions

1.) Is it okay to use "abstain from" in continuous/progressive tense, especially in Future Continuous Tense?

They will be abstaining from eating junk food.

2.) And how about using it in interrogative statements like

Will they be abstaining from eating junk food (to avoid any potential health problems)?

Note my corrections above.
As a general rule (in the UK), we write numbers under 10 in words.
There is no need to capitalise the names of tenses.
In a numbered list, use either a number and a full stop or a number and a bracket but not a number and a full stop and a bracket!
