Hello, Adria!

Always tell us where you found your examples.

Always start sentences with capital letters.

Always punctuate the ends of sentences.

Once you've done what Charlie requested, we can help you further. If you wrote the sentence(s) yourself, you should say so. If you found it/them somewhere else, you need to provide the source and author.

I wrote the sentence myself.

Use "entitled to".

The phrase "before my maternity" does not make sense. You might mean:

- before I give birth

- before my maternity leave is over

Can you tell us more about what you mean? Thanks!

It's unclear exactly what you're asking - how many days you get in total for maternity leave, or how many days before your due date you can begin your maternity leave.

If you're asking about how much time you get in total, then I'd say something like: How much maternity leave am I entitled to? or How many days of maternity leave am I entitled to?

If you're asking how soon before birth you can begin, then perhaps something like: When am I entitled to begin my maternity leave? or simply "When can I begin maternity leave?"

By the way, if you're asking for yourself, then congratulations on your pregnancy!

Thank you very much.I'm asking for myself.

Just trying to find out how many days of holiday I can have/use before my maternity leave will start.

I wasn't sure about word ,, entitled".

Thank you very much. space here I'm asking for myself.

I'm just trying to find out how many days of holiday I can have/use before my maternity leave [STRIKE]will start[/STRIKE] starts.

I wasn't sure about the word "entitled".

Please note my corrections above.

I think "entitled to" isn't what you mean here. You're entitled to a certain number of days holiday every year. What you need to know now is how many days' holiday you have left to take before your maternity leave starts.
